JFJ Window Display: We Love Bridal 2

When there's a wedding in the family, it's an exciting time for everyone. But there are lots of decisions.

With one of our very own getting married in January, that's the hot topic at John Franich Jewellers right now.

Fortunately, at JFJ we live and breathe all things bridal - and we get to see the very best bridal styling and inspired ideas.

Which means we can smooth the way when you're making important decisions about jewellery.

Many of the couples who visit us to select their engagement ring come back to choose their wedding rings. Then they will often consult with our stylists about the accessories for the bride and groom.

The accessories are a subtle but important part of the day - not only because they help the couple to express their individuality, but because these treasured accessories become imbued with the memories and strong feelings of love felt by all on the day.

And later we are often asked to help the bridal couple select a special little 'thank you gift' for each member of the bridal party.

So not only are we part of the conversation about the wedding plans, we get to see the wedding photos and hear all about the day. It's one of the best parts of being one of the jewellery stylists at JFJ.

And now, we are full of anticipation and busy preparing for the wedding of one of our very own.

Many of you will know our daughter Shannon who has been an integral part of the business since the age of three. Shannon has been working at TVNZ since graduating with Honours from Auckland University.

Shannon and Phil have collaborated closely in the planning of their wedding, and we look forward to sharing some of those moments later this month.

And Shannon's wedding plans inspired this beautiful JFJ window display, created by Jeanette - one of our talented stylists at JFJ.

So we decided to create a series of blog posts on styling for weddings. On Wednesday, we'll feature Jeanette, who will be a guest at Shannon's wedding and has chosen a stunning outfit to wear on the day.

There are lots of considerations when deciding on what to wear as a wedding guest . . . join us on Wednesday when we feature Jeanette's personal style.

Yours in Jewellery (and wedding bliss)
