Monday was the 22nd birthday of Rory, our young sales partner. The young think it's old, the older would love to be there.The joys of being 22 with all the challenges and successes which lie ahead. 

On Tuesday night Westfield WestCity held their Retail Excellence Awards at the well decorated Te Pai Centre. Exciting News. Team Franich were awarded the Fashion, Footwear and accessories category and Overall Winner of the Westfield WestCity Retail Excellence Awards. An absolute credit to the diligence and spirit of Lee-Anne, Michelle, Amy,Jeanette, Aimee, Alice and Rory.Thank you to Shannon, Christien and Julian and everyone involved with JFJ.

A reunion of people from my past life with Operating Theatre staff at Auckland Hospital was a fabulous afternoon on Saturday. Great to see people with whom one had worked so closely, and now with grown children and grandchildren. We all look the same but now a collective wealth of character and experience.

Missed kickoff for the All Black match against Australia. Was there ever a doubt this team would retain the Bledisloe Cup? They are sheer class and leaders in evolving the game.
